10 cake requests

I am not really sure why everyone wanted a cake the weekend of October 25th, but for some reason they did. I had 10...yes... 10 cake requests all for the same weekend. I only ended up doing 5. 4 of which will be on this post. WOW!!! What a crazy week it was for me. Now that I caught up on my sleep I decided to post them.

Baby Fever

I think everyone is pregnant... wonder what is in that water... I made this cake for a twins baby shower. At the moment I am also baking lots and lots of cakes for this week. Two of which are also for baby showers. I think I calculated if I baked non stop it would take me almost 24 hours to get all my cakes baked for this week. That is just crazy. Sorry to the people I have had to turn down for this week. I honestly couldn't fit another one in. As it is I have no idea where I am going to store all these cakes. LOL! I need a third fridge and I need a SECOND oven!!! Stay tuned for my latest creations and thank you to all my loyal customers.

Stay tuned for more as I have 5 more within the next 2 weeks! YIKES!

Happy 4th of July

Wow!!!! How did it get to be July already???? Time sure is flying by. I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. I know we did. We shot off a TON of fireworks!!! I made several 4th of July cakes. Here they are.

June Birthdays

It is hard for me to keep up with my blog to keep it up to date with all the cakes I have been making. The good this is I will be taking several weeks of to take a vacation to Disney World, so it will be a nice break from the craziness of life. These two birthday cakes are for two little boys who turned 2. Happy Birthday Garrett and Jackson!

Noah's Ark

Well... my task of making the Noah's Ark cake is complete. Kind of felt like I was actually building an ark since I hand cut out all the planks by hand and plastered them on the cake. It was tons of fun making this cake, but a lot of work.

May Madness!

Well... it seems with the summer fast approaching things are getting really busy for me. This week I had two cakes. The first one was for Taylor's Kinder teacher Mrs. Bentancur's little boy, Jordan, who turned the big 1! He loves Curious George and bananas. The second cake is for Debbie Brack's daughter in law who is expecting a sweet little baby boy. Stay tuned for more photos next week as I have another baby shower cake.

I was trying to match these plates the best I could for this cake.

Cam'ren's 1st Birthday Cake

I made a cake for Cam'ren's 1st Birhtday party on April 26th. Cam'ren is Nelia's grandson and son of Asia. Nelia works at my OB's office as an administrator and so graciously took care of me one time when I passed out after giving lots of blood. They are awesome! Here is the pic. Enjoy.
